MTV Icons - The Cure ?
 

Didn't even know this happened but just stumbled on the start of it on MTV2 here in the UK. Anyone seen it and should I be worried that someone is going to destroy a song I love?

Hadn't seen or heard this, but cool regardless.

And I don't think we have much to worry about, no one can butcher a Cure song as bad as 311 killed "Love Song".

It's from the Adam Sandler movie, 50 First Dates. It's got a reggae feel to it. Blah.

AFI doinng Feels Like Heaven...not ruining it shockingly but that is one of my life affirming songs.

I love that one too. I'm trying to find a download of the show, or even some of the songs.

That's my most favorite Cure song ever. I even tried to cover it when I was in High School.

two of my fave lines ever...it is in the way he sings it too...sounds so cute and sultry at the same time.

deftones is a fantastic job btw...song always makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up

The Cure is my all time favorite band followed by Erasure.

Both are gone now for the most part but thats life.

heard the sad news about Andy Bell? On the plus side they are touring next year and I *will* see them.

the cure are one of my fav bands

It's always a pleasure discovering there is a minority on this board with good taste in music.

Love The Cure. Finally got to see them at Curiosa NYC in august along with Interpol.

Can't believe they let Blink 182 cover that shit though :(

You sure about that? Erasure is playing in January here in Florida.

The Cure and Erasure have both toured this year and The Cure had a top 10 hit this year.
