Yay, congrats! Its the best choice, I love them, I'm using them for about 5 years now. In 5 years I only had a week of hell whith a perfectly round shape mouse that I bought, looked very futuristic and everybody said its soo cool, but I went back to my old mouse after a week and everything was OK. But that was just a blody mouse, LOL, my computers never failed me (I changed 3 of them since then, guess I'm a technology freak). Your gonna love MacOS X, I'm sure. Enjoy your new Mac and congrats for an excellent choice! :thumbsup

It's funny how Mac fans will never admit the flaws their computers have whereas a lot of PC owners will (well, mainly due to Windows being shitty). Then again, most Mac users are graphic designers who put too much emotion behind things anyway and cry rivers and make excuses if you say "that line is too thick".

There is good and bad about MAC and PCs. The one button mouse always bugged me.

Enjoy, anyone serious about web design should have a Mac and a PC. OK, several. MACs are neater to "play" with. I'm not a gammer though. Seems like the MAc has better resolution on the fun stuff. Sure has more charaters per font. Like iMovie too. Simple to use. Anyone can produce a video..

i bought a g4 powerbook last christmas and its fantastic... i've been a pc user all my life and i enjoy both... all this crap about how you cant run more than one application is pure bullshit, i love the mac os x dock more than the windows taskbar... perhaps the greatest advantage is the reliabilty of the mac, especially since theres practically zero spyware and viruses out there for the mac, and my programs never unexpectedly freeze or crash like on multiple pc's i have used. oh and also, i have a 2 button mouse for the mac. but anyways, i still love the pc and mac, just in different ways. :love-smil

I use a Mac because it has an "Unix" based OS.

I got my first Mac, a laptop, a couple of months ago and love it but it has taken me quite a while to get used to it after being a life long PC user.

haha it took me months to use my mac, i just mainly used it to watch dvds... haha a 3700 dollar dvd player for like 6 months... then i started making myself use it and i like it. :eyecrazy

great for design work. after that i love my pcs

Macs are GREAT!! I use both PC and Mac, always prefer my Mac. I just bought a Dual 2.0 Ghz and a 23" display :)

i use to be mac'd but they come out with new shit too fast..makes you feel like got ripped. Not to mention the lack of good warez for the deal.

My condolences. I recently bought an Apple Cinema Display and the experience with them and their support was petulant.
