I need to get back in one. Anyone else jam or play in bands here?

I am in a band called Agents of Entropy. Hence the nick.

I will be playing the role of Ace Frehley on the upcoming Kiss Farewell 2005 Tour.

If I do well...I hope to be asked back for Farewell 2006.

I'm not but I can play the piano and guitar a little...

They've been lurking in the underground for a while now. It's funny to see Motley Crue hamming it up on VH1 of all places. lol.

I play bass and some rythmn guitar and percussion. I haven't been in a band since College tho. My first band was Mugshot - punk. My last one was The Nomads - we were like beastie boys meets digable planets. LOL Good times!

Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and a few others are touring now. (Not together)

I can't believe I am actually "old" now compared to the "kids" that play in the local scene. Sad. The worst part for me is actually finding people cool to play with who actually are into what I'm into.

Other than local music stores, any recommendations on where I should post info looking for a band?

I play guitar and am setting up my new home studio space here at my house for me and my friends to use for jamming.

I'll have 2 strats, a P-bass, drums and keys, plus my digital 8 track recording gear set up. Amps are all Marshall or Fender..

I am building this space for me and my crew that all love to play music yet, dont have the time to devote to a full time band. Its a blast to get together, have a few beers and learn a new tune or two while meeting new musicians, all while having no commitment other than wanting to have a good time.

If yer in philly or the area, then were almost ready to open for jams :)

I play in a couple bands. Keys and bass. I also have a portable recording rig that keeps me busy.

I've tried craigslist and a few musician classifieds sites but haven't had much luck. I may have to go downtown to a few record shops or college areas and post info.

Yanno, I really devoloped a bad taste for bands....my ex was in one...played with a lot of very important people...I got to meet a lot of them..but damn...the travel was just too much...rarely got to see him...oh wait...thinking back...maybe that wasn't such a bad thing.
