I don't have anything installed or enabled on my machine. Nothing, nada. I have not changed a damn thing in at least a month or two since I got this new computer.

I have not, nor will not upgrade to SP2. I see too many fucked up computers due to the upgrade, so it's not for me yet.

I did not. Why should I have to log in on another domain? I will try it, but if a cookie is set from that domain, I will have to return to that domain everytime I want to post or reply. The idea here is nothing on my computer has changed, yet the main URL for this forumn is now not letting me stay logged in.

its a clash between the old GFY and the new.

I think that somethine on GFY is fucked, because everytime I come to gfy, I have to sign in. And I dont have Norton

Has nothing to do with my cookies. I have deleted the old GFY cookies and come back and signed in only to have to do it everytime I re-open GFY in a new browser window.

Sounds like you are running some 3rd party privacy program, or firewall.

Norton's is the worst. Either allow GFY, or disable it totally. Bet it fixes the problem.

i went into internet options, and pressed the delete cookies from IE....works fine now

sucks though, now I have to go and re-enter my user/pass for like 50 forums

It's happening to me too. Deleting my cookies didn't make a difference either.

happens to me too - but just on my computer with xp sp2 - on the other one with xp sp1 it still works like before. :eyecrazy
