How to prevent double logins to a members area?
How can you prevent two users to enter members area with same username at the same time??
If I understand correctly the method in which apache authenticates users prevents this (meaning it can't be done). How to solve this problem??? |

well, you can do it by IP as well.
There are lots of solutions to the problem, and a lot of off the shelf solutions. You could give StrongBox a go. |

i tried that before but it didn't work.

either stick their IP in a database and bounce them to the login if it is a different IP than the "current" one...
Or you could cookie them with some sort of token and do the same thing. |
