Geez... airport to luxor is easy... taxi won't even cost ya that much. There isn't people standing outside rating your arrival or anything.

True enough :), although a couple of times I've been there, the lines for taxis were significant, maybe half an hour of zigzagging through a very smoky maze line. (It's an outdoor line, and smokers are need a fix after their flights). Limos cost more, but in my limited experience involve almost no waiting, even if you haven't reserved one in advance. I'm sure you could find accurate data online, but off the top of my head I think it was something like $20 for a cab, or $35 for a non-stretch limo.
