When I woke up this morning...

I read cnn.com like every day. When I saw the tsunami news I couldn't help but cry. What a horrible thing to happen to human beings.

Words can't even express how terrible I feel. Does anyone know if the red cross is on scene? I'd like to make a donation to whichever agency is going to be providing relief.

An estimated 11,000 people are believed to have been killed by the 20-foot-high waves with the most severe death tolls in India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Thailand.

:(

Waves were up to 40 feet high in some areas. No one knew they were coming since they don't have a Tsunami warning system like we do in the Pacific basin. So in a lot of tourist areas people were out on the beach and just got walloped.

Several million homes and businesses destroyed.
