iBill - what are they asking for?

For people who are "owed" payments and have theoretically switched over to Gkard, what is iBill asking for? I had heard they are asking for continued sending of signups to get previous money. What constitutes "continued" sending of traffic? If a website stops sending signups, they're not going to get any future payments? How is this all going to work?

TheWylders 12-26-2004 06:31 PM

I don't think you have to send a specific number of signups to remain active, as long as you haven't removed the link.

Big E 12-26-2004 06:54 PM

That's cool.. just "de-emphasize" the link. ha ha ha =)

Hinc 12-26-2004 07:45 PM

What´s the big difference by now?

If you keep the link - they dont send any money.
If you remove the link - they dont send any money

Ah yeah I know, at least one of the options sort of keeps hope alive...but it seems more like a daydream than a strategy.

MandyBlake 12-26-2004 08:50 PM

why not ask your account rep?

lol if Ibill owed me a lot of money, with their recant track record.. Well to put it simply they would be the last ones I'd be asking anything but wheres my money.

aiken 12-26-2004 09:01 PM

Hey, Big E. I haven't seen you for a while; hope things are good and maybe we'll run into each other in Vegas. The 420hp t/a is for sale at that place in the gaslamp, if you're looking for a new fast car :)

Anyways, if Ibill is telling you you have to send them more business in order for them to repay an admitted debt... talk to a lawyer. They owe you money -- threatening to withhold that debt unless you send more business certainly opens them up to additional civil liability, and possibly criminal liability as well. Your lawyer will be able to give the best advice on how to proceed.

Us, we're not sending another dime of new business through Ibill unless and until they make good on past debts.

Cheers

As mentioned before.. if Ibill doesn't pay what they offered by Internext, I will forward a complaint of fraud before the U.S. Attorney's office.

After all this bullshit they've put everyone through, you'd still send them business if they made good on their debts?

Actually, in some strange way - they may have figured, they are forced to not pay us what they owe, because they´re aware that when they do, we´re out of there with the pity remains of their business.

As it is, at least some stay, in the hope that they´ll pay - thus filling their pockets for as long as it goes... :321GFY

Thanks for all the comments guys..

I should note that this isn't for us - I'm asking the question for someone else. Mac and Bumble has been on its own merchant account since May.

HMS 12-27-2004 10:26 AM

If you are looking for your own merchant account I will soon be able to assist. Humboldt Merchant Services currently processes multi-million dollars per month in adult transactions. We truly desire to bring on more adult accounts, but Visa has put a temporary stop to that. We have reached our "maximum allowable ratio" of adult vs. non adult processing dollars. As our non adult portfolio grows we will again be able to bring on additional adult accounts. We are looking at March/April to be able to do so. If you feel you would be interested I am currently building a list of folks to contact as soon as this opens up. Simply email me your contact info and I will add you to my notification list.

HMS does require the following:
-2 years in business
-currently processing $100K per month (can by 3rd party, direct, or combination of)
-CB's under 1%
-using one of a select few gateways (NETBILLING, Jettis, CyberSource, etc)

If you meet these I can get you the following rates:
Discount Rate (non qualified) 4.6%
Transaction fee $0.30 (including AVS)
Monthly Statement Fee $10.00
High Risk registration / set-up fees $2790

Believe me when I say I would LOVE to bring these accounts on now, but Visa simply will not allow it.

EMAIL ME TO BE NOTIFIED WHEN WE ARE AGAIN ABLE TO OPEN DIRECT ACCOUNTS!

Humboldt is a great bank to work with and we have MANY merchants placed there. While Humboldt is awaiting the ability to take on new adult merchants, Netbilling has solutions to set merchants up for adult membership, products and mainstream including retail.

Toll Free within the US: (888)357-8166
Outside the US: (661)252-2456

Thank you, Mitch Farber

p.s. Will you be at Internext Steve?

Ibill is actually gonna have a booth?

I will be staying clear of it, I wouldnt be surprised if a suicide bomber hits it.

HMS 12-27-2004 12:09 PM

Mitch -

InterNext is not on the horizon for me, unfortunately. I am not sure if we will have other members in attendance or not. In any event I will keep you, and anyone else interested, updated as to when we can take on new adult clients. THE SOONER THE BETTER!

If you are in the US, you must pay the registration fees. For offshore, there is no registration fees.

Sounds like some good options.

However, 100k in cross sales - gotta be honest, I was never anywhere close to that, so gotta look for options accepting smaller volumes.

Our mimimum volume limit for adult is 10k, not 100k.

If iBill do have a booth - I'm interested in the source of funds for this and which webmasters actually ended up paying for this bullshit.

I know iBill is reading GFY threads and hiding. Just know the clock is ticking... and faster.... it's down to days now before you have more of a problem than just finding funds to pay folks at least some money.

Start by answering all email... that's the easy bit.

I'm not going to say where our merchant account is based, but I will say that we're EXTREMELY happy with our current bank.

Our gateway is NetBilling, and Mitch (and staff) have been a great help..

Yea... there are reps there - ain't their fault iBill is shit and some reps are hiding.

Now that all excuses have been exhausted, apart from my dog died, - we are into speechless mode now and unable to respond to an email when money is mentioned. But OK otherwise....

BTW.. still waiting for a response if iBill is reading this - and I know you are:-) And no.. I ain't gotta tell you to fuck yourself - I'll be real nice!! It's just a biz thing and clear up some lies which ya were probably pressed up to do...
