do you buy generic goods?
or are you a name brand soldier only?
a lot of sam's choice adorns my refrigerator. baller on a budget. ain't no shame in it. |
some stuff it really doesnt matter wether its the bigger name brand or not so why not save a little money?
|
i buy whatever looks tasty.

Yes, I do.
|
i buy genetic code

It depends on the product but for a lot of stuff there's no need to pay the extra for a brand name. Other stuff there is and you really do pay for what you get.
|
Yeah I do all the time I have a wife and two kids I owe it to them to make the most of my money...
|
i buy stuff from costco.
|
Yes, I do. I went to Walmart the other day and probably saved $50 buying a lot of generic products.
What a lot of people don't realize is, the name brand companies make the products for stores and put the stores label on it and/or sell their forumla to the store. So all you are paying for sometimes is a label. Granted, sometimes the generic products are a little more "watered down" but in general, they are just as good. I also buy the Malto-meal cereal in the bags instead of paying for a pretty box. |
Yep, like Furious_Female said, many no-name and store brands are made the name brand companies.
I don't mind buying no-name/store brand items... with a few exceptions though. For example, I don't buy generic choco-hazelnut spread. I get Nutella. And I don't buy store brand colas, just Coke or Pepsi. |
I try to avoid knock off brands as usually their product is crap. You may save $0.75 on your purchase only to find out you wasted the $1.00 you spent on something that doesn't taste right, work as well or will break promptly.
