i always have mixed feelings about these things. lots of family, which is both good, and bad. friends, which are always good. some members of my family are pretty fucking strange, which i guess is at least interesting.

Someone has to explain this boxing day thing to me. Why do they call it 'Boxing Day' if there's no boxing involved?

i'm not really sure. something to do with the church way back when and opening boxes (i think).

pornwolf i think the 'Boxing Day' tradition came from Scotland - the day after Christmas people have to take care of all the empty boxes gifts came in - hence 'Boxing Day' or 'Getting Rid of Boxes Day' )

I always thought it meant, box up and return all the unwanted shit you got day.
