Guerilla Traffic just lowered paypouts.
"GuerillaTraffic.com Affiliate,
GuerillaTraffic.com has strived to be an industry leader with our affiliate program and have prided ourselves on offering one of the industry's highest payouts on a per join basis. After careful consideration we have decided that it is time to reduce our payments to $30 per join. We feel that this is a necessary move given this years significant changes to the adult affiliate market, processing regulations, chargeback penalties and a heavy insurgence of fraudulent webmasters. With all of these negative factors working against us we want to ensure that we do the best thing for our program and our affiliates." I just put up some links last night to them. oops. |
Smart move I think..
not good for me tho :( |
Yeah, I know.. It sucks.. But they're still a kickass sponsor. :thumbsup
|
shitty but very smart i'd rather make less than nothing if they go out of business...
|
Atleast they didn't just turn up the shave like most sponsors :drinkup
|
i wonder who will be next

My philosophy is simple: Sponsor drops payouts, I drop their links. |

Sure we dropped payouts, a lot has happened lately and being that IBILL was our main processor we have lost a lot and we made sure that not one of our webmasters went unpaid even though we did. This is a smart decision and many others have dropped payouts in the past and will continue to do so. We are still a high paying sponsor and we will still pay up to $35 per join. I'd like to thank you all for your continued support happy holidays! |

If a program is paying more than $30 on a trial I would worry :2 cents:

fucking 8 characters limit  |
Things are changing, the whole adult industry has changed. I don't think many sponsors can keep payouts above $30 for long. Some might be able to, but they will be few and far between.
Companies do what they have to do to survive...they are doing the right thing. |
Pop up revenue is lowering thus you will see this as a trend in the future.

George, Sherie and crew are good people and will be around in the industry for a while to come. :D DH |

I'll fix it when I get home. Also, we never lowed our payouts. We just cut out a particular payment method and paying $25 dollars even on trials.. :winkwink: |
smarten up, payouts don't mean anything. I would prefer a sponsor lowering payouts instead of artificially adjusting the numbers.

i think $30 pps is still good. It still makes me wonder though are these companies doign well finacially if they need to all of a sudden drop payouts though?

Also, pop-up revenue's are dropping, so in order to remain competitive in an ever changing industry we felt it best to lower our payouts. It wasn't all of a sudden, it's been something that we've been discussing since this whole IBILL fiasco. We held off until the end of the year so we would have as little impact as possible on anyone's holiday season and we wanted to see if we were going to be paid as well thus not affecting payouts, however, that is not the case. We are currently working on ways to put more $$ in the pockets of our webmasters. Hope this has cleared up any questions or concerns that you may have had. |
If pop up revenue is dropping why does this effect non pop up payouts? Just nit picking as my links will stay up.
