Georgetown, Penang hit by Tsunami?
 

A very good friend of mine went home to visit her family in Malaysia over the holidays, and I don't have any way to get ahold of her.

She is on a little island called Georgetown, Penang. Does anyone know how hard they were hit?

Hard to tell from these news reports, but it doesn't look good.

I hope she is ok.
