WHat's up with the rumblings I've been hearing about the Patriot Act II & the DRAFT ?
 

Did some online research and have'nt been able to run across anything that explains how exactly the new National Intelligence Reform Act of 2004 pertains to personal liberties like the first Patriot Act did.

I've been hearing how they slipped in some Patriot Act revisions, or upgrades in with this new bill that specify draft issues; such as handicap people, women, college students etc. will all have to be drafted if one is instituted. Basically it takes away from any and all excuses to not get sent out against your will.

I have'nt been able to turn up anything related to the specifics of how the two relate... anyone heard of this stuff going on or maybe has a better understanding of the current bill and it's relevance to individual civil liberties?

What that suggests is that they?re waiting for a propitious time to introduce it, which might well be when a war is begun. At that time there would be less opportunity for discussion and they?ll have a much stronger hand in saying that they need these right away.?
