I am planing to do some movie tgps and i am wondering what quality and how long they should be? Also, i don't know which program is the best to change quality and cut,edit the files?

I'm not up to speed on the programs that will work...but as for the type and length of movies, it's basically whatever you can afford to provide. If they are decent at all, I don't think you'll have a hard time getting listed anywhere. Most people simply can't afford the bandwidth of movie galleries yet. There are some successful at it, but the barrier of entry seems to be a little higher there than in standard gallery building.

the movies are 1 min lenght, Is it too long? because it seems like they are usually about 15 sec... And if they are long how can i edit them?

Galleries like this are normally listed really easily everywhere...

I have 4 mgps and run a team of webmasters that do noting but movie sites

suggest 10 sec, no sound, use Vdub1.3c with divx311_alpha codec clips will avg about 400-500k

I'd like to see more galleries that have 1 good long movie on them.

Instead of 10, 15 second movies that equal 150 seconds. Maybe just one 45 second one.

Well, I am sure you would, as would all the typical, just want enough to beat off to for free bastards out there, but this would serve no purpose at all, and in fact has several reasons why you should not do that.

First off, putting ten 15 sec clips is just plain dumb, umless you have figured out a way to pull in 50 sign ups a day per gallery.

I only use four 10 second clips, and would never suggest anyone use more than 6. I have four MGPs, and I probably approve 30% of the submits I get because of people either running the clips from somewhere other than the domain they are submitting, or because they have a bunch of 3 second clips, or crappy quality 15 second clips.

The main problem with using 45 sec clips is that you get a bunch of surfers with dial up modems that are transferring at 1.5k per second and tying up your server, bogging it down to where no one can even access the damn thing. If they want to jack off, let them buy a membership.
