FAT ALBERT the movie....Just came back from seeing it.
 

If you liked Fat Albert back in the day, you'll like this movie. The fat dude from Keenan and Kel played fat albert and most of the characters were right on point.

I'd say that it was worth the money that I spent to go see it....And my daughter laughed a lot at the movie also. It had no cussing or anything like that so anybody can go see it.

The original cartoons are out on DVD now, too. We rented the first one at blockbuster, but I have to say we were pretty disappointed.

There were no special features, no options, they were not remastered or optimized for digital format, the sound sucked, and they didn't even close caption it (we have a hard-of-hearing household.) Also, the first 3 episodes on the disk went by in a flash, obviously edited. I don't like my nostalgia edited!

On the other hand, I haven't been able to get some of the songs out of my head for days. "Don't go tellin' a lie... Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm." :1orglaugh
