Arg, Does work consume you?
 

It does me, I didnt even get out to just look for some kind of present for anyone because I was to busy working (im probably fucked today), and I didnt want to pull myself away from work.

I think I'm one of those guys you see on TV who end up getting divorces because theyre to engulfed in their work and never home.

My gf is already really bitchy about the amount of time I spend working. :throwup

that isnt about work, that's about being a selfish person to not shop for one single present for anyone including your gf? that's just low. and im not trying to insult you..just telling you how I think it is. :zzwhip

I shop online so I dont have to go looking for things in stores

work is supposed to consume you until you reach your desired amount of $ per day.. which is never.

I'll tell you this ... I work much more for myself than I ever did for somebody else. I am, however, taking today off.

6 months ago I said once I get to x point (there now) I'll cut back my hours and just coast.
But now that I know with more work I can double what I am at now I set my new goal to 2x

maybe when I get my next goal I'll quit my day job, and then get to 3x or even 4x then jsut coast the rest of the way.

There is a fine line. I too am always thinking about work and projects but I make sure I take time to shut off the PC, or whatever, and play a game with my friends and family for an hour each day, eat dinner together etc. If you can not pull yourself away for an hour or two each day you need to seek help.
