I know it's Xmas, but our daughter is sleeping and I need to catch up on work.

Both are pretty good but i would make the original pics a little larger.

In that first gallery you probably need to select/crop thumbs slightly differently,
thumb 1.jpg and 2.jpg next to each other look funny, 8 and 9 doesn't apear to work that well next to each other either...but other than that, looks good :thumbsup

looking good to me...I'd leave more space between the text and the thumbs

I think in the future I will get the text left to HTML so I can adjust it.

Look what i would do in your case. Check gallery samples and pick someone experienced that emphases on layouts with wording. Order 10 templates and buy 1mil unique for $500-600 from a tgp like 3pic.com (100k to each one). Track the performance and CTR of each template. When the traffic has finished keep the top3 templates for the whole 2005. By using the same templates you secure good ctr/perfomance and they become more recognizable to the tgp reviewers.

Good plan, but I need to learn how to do this myself. When we have something that works I will be throwing traffic at it.

Galleries look good man, I think the big pics are big enough. How is the MVC working out for you on this? I use them for selling traffic but not members sites.

So far they are fine and they have an affiliate program in testing. CCBILL seem unable to get their script to work on my site so they are out. Might look into Verotel after the holidays.

MVC do scrub a bit hard on the content site though.
