Signup4cash update

This is an official announcement from Signup4cash. First, a short version:

We are not out of business. We had technical issues but our sites are up now. Thanks to our affiliates who have supported us during our issues. Everyone will be compensated for the lost sign ups. The hater/ex-employee(s) can fuck off.

Long version:

We were down for a little over 48 hours due to a huge network issue that was extremely difficult to resolve so close to Christmas. I had to fly to the datacenter in Chicago from my vacation spot in order to finally get this issue resolved. Our sites are up now most everywhere in the world and are still propagating everywhere else.

This is the first downtime we have ever had. We are not going out of business.

I?d like to personally thank everyone who helped with both the technical issues as well as those who gave their support on a more personal level ? you all know who you are. This has been a stressful 48 hours and it would have been hard to get through without all of you. (On a side note, AC has been sick and is on Christmas vacation).

As far as our affiliates and their lost sales are concerned ? some of our affiliates know this already, but for those who don?t, we are in the process of giving each affiliate twice the number of sales they would have received had the sites been up based on their average sales per day in a 30 day period. For example, if an affiliate averaged 20 sales per day in the last 30 days they will be given 40 sales for each of the two days we were down (80 sales total).

Ok, now I?d like to address some issues related to rumors on this board started by a disgruntled, hater, ex-employee with nothing better to do than make up lies and rumors about someone else simply because they are incompetent and now unemployed. If anyone has ever run a business I?m sure they understand what employees who leave on bad terms are like ? especially in this business ? it?s easy to make fake nick names and slander people on the board. Fortunately, our webmasters and associates are smart enough to take disgruntled employees comments with a grain of salt. I can only assume the GFY members are equally as sensible. The whole lawsuit thing was blown out of proportion. Basically, one of the sites in our program received a subpoena in a lawsuit because an affiliate was spamming. It hasn?t affected us financially and there is no judgment against us.

As far as a 35% shave is concerned -- It?s funny that this person assumes to know so much about me and my business yet can?t substantiate such a key part of their claims with so much as a screenshot or any form of proof whatsoever. We do not shave sign ups at all. If we shaved and produced lousy ratios why would a program such as ARS have our cam site up as one of the two major sites promoted on their exits across their entire program?

If anyone is unhappy with their conversions please contact me personally so we work on improving your ratios.

If anyone has any problems or wants to talk about anything related to Signup4cash please call me at 702-355-2324. Otherwise, I will see everyone at Internext. Thanks again to the affiliates and partners that have supported us and we?re sorry about the downtime. It

What on earth takes 48 hours, and someone flying in to the DC from out of the country, to fix?

Furious_Female 12-25-2004 12:32 AM

I would just like to add that SignUp4Cash is one of the best sponsors out there. They convert, pay on time and have fantastic affiliate support. Donnie and his staff are very professional and cool people.

Thanks SignUp4Cash for everything in 2004. Keep on keepin' on in 2005 :thumbsup

SykkBoy 12-25-2004 01:21 AM

Good to hear things are back on track!

35% shave? Totally ridiculous...I used to work there and know first hand there was no shave

I figured it was a signup4cash network issue due to all my sites being up and I'm hosted with reflected.net

Manowar 12-25-2004 02:38 AM

Good stuff :thumbsup

A PPS program that offers $30 on a $1 trials and you guys think they don't shave...hahah noobs...keep believing that.

Merry Christmas.

Hi Donnie. I would like to be hooked up a random 5' 10" Asian babe with green eyes, preferably that lives in Vegas, a few days before the show. Can I call that 702 number of yours for the hookup?

What other response would you expect? The company facing the allegations can either deny them, agree with them or ignore them. Which one do you think looks best for the company?

I can easily register 10 fake nicks and accuse 10 different high profile programs of shaving. All ten of those companies will reply with the same thing Donnie did.

if you are in this business long enough and still believe that a pay per signup program that pays you 30 bucks on a dollar gamble and doesn't shave then you are definitely in the wrong biz.

bla bla bla. put an identity behind your words and then maybe they'll hold some weight.

if you've been in this business for a while and have no clue how profitable a well-run cam site is, you're definetly in the wrong business.

surfers pay $3-$5 per MINUTE to view these girls. that means the signup payout is covered with 6-10 mins of cam time. everything else is pure profit.

if one surfer spends 1 hour viewing cams in one month, he has covered the cost of 6-10 signups. now imagine if he does an hour a week. he's covering 24-40 signups. 2 hours a month for 6 months? 72-120 signups.

sit down with a paper and pencil and work some numbers out. you'll have fun.

hey dude, are you still hooking up S4C webmasters with hosting?

AC sent me an email about it a few months ago. I replied to his email and hit him up on ICQ but I never heard anything back.

aww come on now ;)

I was rooting that it was just a server issue you were having and I was right. happy to see ya back in action.

One thing I have learned in the last year.

More competition = more money for me.
I know its weird but in the last year there are 10 times the web cam companies. And yet I continue to do record sales.

I am sure you will be quite impressed with the changes you will see at streamray in teh next few months. There are gonna be some mind boggling announcements in our near future ! :) :drinkup

Can you comment on that?

I'm not going to waste my time disputing with an ex-employee who should be more concerned about finding a new job. The details of my businesses outside signup4cash are in fact my own business but I can confirm that Vegas Playa has no fucking idea what he's talking about and is not privy to my business concerns whatsoever.

Several serious webmasters have taken me up on my offer to call me up on my phone to discuss the details. That offer is still open to everyone else. Please feel free to contact me anytime. The bottom line is the sites are back up, generous compensation has been made to all webmasters who lost sales during the downtime, and everyone has always been paid ontime. I've also been quite impressed with a number of individuals who have shown beyond the call of duty support and I appreciate you. I've said enough on GFY regarding this matter and I'm going back to my Christmas dinner. I hope everyone else enjoys the rest of their Holidays.
