the UPS tracking numbers NEVER work for me ( usually here by the time they do )

and the last I dont have tracking for .. but I know its sent

I can't speak for UPS but I used to be a courier for FedEx back about 6 years ago. Providing they have a correct address they will attempt to deliver packages at all costs. Even if that means paying couriers 4x overtime to deliver Christmas morning. If I recall correctly, there was a snow storm a couple days ago, and that will totally fuck up all air travel to include air freight.

Not making excuses, because I know how frustraiting it can be not to get your packages you are expecting or not to have your packages delivered on time.

if any of you knew the massive operation these companies run, and the overwhelming amount of packages that arrive daily, on time un damaged you would shit. In our wholesale business we ship 700-1000 boxes a day, very minimal problems ever with ups

axelcat 12-24-2004 11:03 AM

put fedex and ups together and you get fed up

The storm may certainly be a factor. I ordered computer monitor that was shipped to me via FedEx and it arrived late because of a storm. I didn't have problem with that but when it arrived the box was soaking wet. Apparently, my monitor was left out in the storm or something. What's up with that?

pood 12-24-2004 11:12 AM

blame the weather

I thought I'd get my new phone today through UPS, because of the weather, it probably won't be here till monday;(

you there's really nothing they can do if they're not cleared for take-off/landing

sorry bud

abadfish 12-24-2004 11:16 AM

I'm pretty sure it was the heavy snowstorms... we have some things that are delayed as well... No big deal. You can't really depend on any delivery at this time of the year.

ya i generally stick with fedex, ups and purolator and usps have all fucked me bad in the past. for whatever reason though i ended up using ups yesterday to send 7 computers from here (vancouver) to victorville and they should be delivered today, were in ontario which i thought pretty darn impressive. didnt even send them til like 4pm yesterday.

pushpills 12-24-2004 11:21 AM

fedex is great, they even got a key to my appartment building cuzz i get 2 days of fedexes every week, so if im not around, no biggie, they just drop it inside for me. :xmas-smil
