The water company came and said they are turning off water for 6 hrs...
Why would they do that? It was working fine, the pressure seemed a little low though.
Why would the water company come turn off the water for 6 hours? What if they dont put it back on in time....I gotta shower for dinner! |
prolly doing maintenance to their lines or adding a new offspout or maybe even replacing lines.
|
Why didnt you just ask them when they came to tell you ?

That used to happen to me every day for a month in an apt I used to live in. The water would be turned off from 10am til 5pm daily for repairs.
The apt was on Wall st. All the bankers and brokers would be off to work by 8:30 so they never noticed a difference. Me on the other hand, I didn't come in the apt til 5am almost every day from late work/partying so when I finally woke up I woke up to dry pipes. No shower, 1 flush worth of water in the toilet. It sucked majorly. |
heh, "I gotta shower for dinner!"
Dont be silly, its just for 6 hours... |
Dont they have to give you 24hrs notice if they are going to do that?
|
let's hope they don't fuck it up before xmas
