Nintendo CameCube? Worth it?
 

So I have some TCG gold points... Im not a big gamer but is the game cube worth it? I mean, Metroid, Zelda, Mario.. etc.. Good games?

For the Metroid/Zelda/Mario games, it's definetly worth it.

nope, get more points for a ps2 or xbox

We got ours just to play Zelda

Not alot of great games out for it, but there is some good games.

Resident Evil 4 due out soon in gonna be amazing on it !!

My 10 year olds like it... the older kids and hubby like the XBox and PS2.

They're cheap now so obviously they're worth it. I prefer XBox over GC b/c oof the type of games I play.

Definitely, worth getting. By far my favorite system.

It's worth it for Zelda alone.

depends on the types of games you like... xbox and ps2 are more in direct competition in my opinion as neither really offer the same types of games that gamecube does.

not to mention RE4

PS2 is better than game cube.

I am not a big gamer either and I have the Gamecube. I like the games like Mario Cart and Mortal Combat (I like old school fighting games like street fighter) so if you are the same then this will be a good choice :2 cents:

it's cool for what it is, but ps2 and xbox are better

GameCube is nice for a couple of games like Mario Kart / Metroid Prime / Tales of Symphonia but for any other game that's multi-platform I'd get the xbox :2 cents:

simple answer? no its not worth it...When you have only a handfull of good games in a console that is far from new it aint worth it :)

If you have kids, its good for them !! But GameCube is really oriented with kids game, so you will probably be disapointed !

I think it's worth it. It has some fun and easy party games you could play with chicks or when you and your friends are drunk.

I bought one when it first came out and now wish I had spent that $$ on a PS2. Half the games I am interested in aren't out for GameCube, and it seems like the 2005 batch of Star Wars games about the new movie aren't even coming to Nintendo, and I have no idea why. If I had to do it all over again, I'd go with a PS2. GameCube isn't horrible, but it should have more titles...

It's worth it if you buy a used console for $50 from EBGames.

Definitely worth it.

Sonic classics & Zelda (WindWaker) are both 10/10 games.
Zelda alone will keep you occupied for weeks.
