I had a family member make it to the #4 spot on the top 100 wealthiest canadians....if I can reach #3, I'll consider my goals achieved.

I always said I would have 1 million in cash in my bank account when I was 30.

tyler86ed 12-23-2004 05:06 PM

I'd feel stable with 100k a year. I'd feel much better with 1 million a year. And pretty fucking good with 5 million per year.

I always said I would make my first million (pre-tax of course) by the time time I was 23, did that. Said I'd make my first five million by 30, its gonna be close there (I keep spending more..lol) and the final goal is just ten million by 35, and im gonna slowly kill myself with booze and chew.

Tip to those working on their first million, 99% of the people that get there, lost it all at least once in my experience...

I hear ya, I just quit the chew but the booze is another story. I guess I'm not too concerned with how fast I earn a million (pre-tax, before expenses, etc.) but how fast I'll have a million sitting in a checking account just waiting for me to blow it.

I just read that an I now realize why I don't have a million...

Dalai lama 12-23-2004 05:32 PM

$100 :)
