I really dont think we should be helping more people get into this business. Why help the competition? If that's what you want to call it? If sombody has what it takes to make it, then he or she will make it.

Type 99% of these dumb questions into a good SE box and up pops pages of info.

Recent example, "what?s hot linking" enter this into any major SE and guess what pops up - the full story and remedies.

Newbies - get off your lazy fat asses and read read read this is not a business to learn the hard way, you will get badly burnt and taken for many $$$. Not only that, your inexperience is placing obstacles in the path of those who are experienced and rely on this business to put bread on the table.

And, if you think making a few galleries and posting to TGP?s is going to make you rich over night then I suggest you think again as its not going to happen.

Perhaps if a few people tell how long it?s taken them to make a solid well paid business here you might get the idea. And remember, many of these guys were around when TGP?s really did convert like crazy.

The easy days are over boys, only the smart and experienced will continue to make money.

Beginners always ask the same questions. I'm on a photography forum and hardly a week goes by without a new member asking us what camera we recommend. It's gotten to the point where I keep a canned reply in a text file that I can cut and paste into my reply.

Actually, I've helped a good number of people. Some are now making large sums of money with TGP's, etc, and others have gone into different ways making money on the internet and still more have given up when I decided to stop helping them.

Know what made them give up? When I told them that I have taken them as far as I am able (willing) to and the rest was now up to them. They actually had to READ! READ! READ!

My best advice these days is to tell them to search the forums. Most BBS's have the search function and most of their questions could be answered there.

That's not a very healthy attitude. I'm sure you were new once too Dopy. Instead of acting 'holier-than-thou', maybe your energy would be better spent helping some people out once in a while. I'm not saying you should become a one man help desk, but when someone asks a reasonable question, maybe you should give a reasonable and honest answer.
