I mean it would make sense. The drawback would be less posts and page views. The up side is higher value and retention of webmasters.

Still get more page views. There are ads on search page, and results, and people would likely post in a few day old threads to reply in them since they missed them, and continue those discussions, so really likely would balance out and have a positive effect on posters. Very long sentence. Heh.

I would like to know too. And, I am just an idiot that I cannot find a link to click to get back to the topics at the bottom of the thread...hitting the back button on IE brings me back to the last thread I read.

One of the earlier threads said search was going to come back once all the posts re-indexed. I don't recall the thread *sarcasm alart level raised* and cannot search for it. I miss that little guy.

Yeah, I just wish they'd bring back the search. I haven't tried Lane's GFY search. I wonder what the effect on the change will be to his search page
