IE or Firefox
 

Find myself using Firefox more and more lately. I love the tabs. Anyone have any pros or cons on either browser?

About all I use anymore is firefox, only thing I pretty much use ie for anymore is just to check to see how my sites look in them.

I have to agree Firefox is the shit.

I was die-hard Netscape for years, then grudgingly switched to IE (around 4.0) and just last week converted to Firefox. Some problems with plug-ins but I'm getting used to it. So far, :thumbsup

I can't scroll in Firefox when I'm in a box like this one. (I need to click outside of it onto the main page).

Fuck em both, but I'd rather use Firefox.

I started using Firefox in beta (firebird) and loved it. Stuck with it.... the built in easy tabbed browsing did it for me.

Took me a while but I got used to Firefox. Now I like it more than IE, plus I'm free from spyware.

Firefox is great. I like the tabs and popup blocker. The main problem is it sometimes crashes.

tabbed browsing makes a big difference when you get used to it.
I wonder if IExplorer 7 will have tabs?

I just hate IE - it's so buggy (I only use it to view pages offline, cuz it starts quickly). Firefox is much more better than IE (this tabbed browsing feature is just awesome). But I would recommend you to try using Opera - it also has tabbed browsing feature, but works faster (loads pages faster than any other browser) and more stable than Firefox not to mention IE, it has even built-in e-mail client (there are only two things I don't like in Opera - 1)it's a bit slow at start-up and 2)you have to pay for your license)

well used IE for ages dl FF some days ago installed it and now surfing with FF, not bad at all

I use firefox, I cant stand popups, no tabs and all the exploits.
Firefox got tons of cool plugins too..

If you do a little searching, there's no need to pay for the license :winkwink:

Firefox totally rocks!

Let's face it, while Firefox may use an IE based platform it rocks over all. I really like the tabed interface, greater speed and the 'ctrl' and + or - fetures. I doubt I will go back to IE except for when I have I have to download a new plug-in that I already have for IE.....

Been using firefox since the early Betas and it's the best thing for browsing so far...

Sounds like I need to make some time to dl and try firefox. I havent even bothered yet.

My progression went from NS to IE to Avant Browser to Foxfire. This is over several years though (like 10) abandoned NS a long time ago...
