I've never had it. I can't belive I missed all of these good restaurants. I lived (and technically still do) at La Estancia on Vineland & Ventura. I think I spent waaaay too much time at Fatburger and Popeyes. :(

true but there are different kinds, try the greek one, the turkish one they add sugarwater on top, some just use pastry and nuts and honey, still lotsa cal i agree but its nice :)

I am argentinian, yet I love middle eastern food, baklava is great especially if you have a cup of turkish cofee with it, yummiiiiiiiii

It's layers of phylo pastry, nuts, and honey syrup. I'm Bulgarian and I grew up with that stuff, I love it.

I wonder if you guys are like me... My wife makes Baklava all the time and sits in the fridge for weeks...but when she makes a simple yellow cake, it's gone wihtin the day...

My Mom makes that stuff from the scratch.It looks good but to sweet for me

I use to make pans of that stuff when I cooked at a lil greek place.
