My theory is that girls know they have to face their families during the holidays and they want to be able to say they are in a relationship.

I dropped by a girls house last week and her mother was there. I did not find out her mother would be there until the door opened and then I spent the next half hour getting "interviewed". I split as soon as the wine ran dry.
