wouldn't he be able to cash the check if the bank in which the check was drawn had a branch in vegas. 99.9% of the time when you goto the bank who issued the check they will cash the check even if you don't have an account

Yeah, if the branch it was drawn on was in Vegas, and he went there he might be able to . . . depending on the amount. If it is too much they might make a phone call to verify that the check is real

If its w worthy amount, just open an account with the same bank, and then withdraw all your money.

They are not going to give you a "few k" even if it is drawn on that branch until they make a phone call and verify that the checks are not stolen

You mean pawn shops? While there are out of state check cashing services, they are not usually for second party checks . . . and the fee they charge is pretty fucking high

Use American Express travelers Checks you can cash that anywhere :thumbsup

go to ACE check cashing. Bring lots of ID. they'll charge you anywhere from 10%-20% dependng. But they will cash it with enough ID.
