Is there something wrong with being a pornstar as your profession?

If I said to someone - wow you could be a model or movie star- they usually think it's a complement on their appearance and are happy about it.

- So how is saying to someone - wow - you could be a pornstar any different unless you have major mental issues with porn?

think about it. Saying someone could be a pornstar is really just a comment on the fact that the person is physically attractive enough to make money selling their appearance just like a fashion model or movie star.

I always find it amazing just how many people in this business really look down on and have a superiority complex over those people who act as the front lines of our profession and arn't doing anything illegial.

It's sad.

i agree. context is everything. the statement was made on an adult webmaster chat board. I would never make that statement in a mall. Just as most people wouldn't post pics of ******* on thier wall.
