Is this the way to treat a customer?
Email sent it to the support desk:
"I bought 1 token for relishxxx.tv and this token did not work properly! Why the fuck do I have to go through this rigmarole just to make a comment? My user id was stinxxx, my password was xxx I bought a token to watch Karina Currie and after I entered the password all I got was a message saying the website was not working, I tried it again and the token had run out. Brilliant! Please reply asap. Do you even have anything to do with the site? " It was a $4.95 purchase and he is based in the UK. He emailed at just past midnight and I responded within 5 minutes. This was not reply: "Why do you have to swear just because of what is a small mistake over $4.95? Try this "Why should I give a fuck about helping someone who has no fucking manners?" It is midnight where I am in the world and I am up doing customer support and having to listen to someone like yourself get aggressive over $4.95 and what is just a small glitche. OK please ensure you have the latest version of Microsoft Media Player. Go to www.microsoft.com and download the latest one. The license will last more than one play so even when you update media player the video should start to work. Also Mr Clever Bastard we do have something to do with the site, hence the link to customer support coming here. You reallly are a clever boy arent you. Yours " I know he could be a potential good customer....blah blah blah....personally I would prefer him to FUCK OFF.... |

IMHO, no this isn't a way to treat a customer. Even if it's a 4.95 customer, they should still be treated with respect and professionalism by you....the customer support dude. :)
Even when it's hard and they attack you and you just want to verbally castrate them...YOU need to be the adult and the businessman and handle things professionally. Sometimes it means biting your tongue (typing fingers) but the customers are you're bread and butter and NEVER bite the hand that feeds you. |
is this a business your running? cause you sound like an immature idiot. Who cares if your customer yells at you? does it hurt your feelings? Man up and try to make it right with them. If you think they were completely out of line, refund his money and tell him you will not deal with that type of ehviour. End communication. Dont stoop down to his level and start name calling.
:helpme |
to be honest I would expect to be fired if I did my customer service that way. However, that said, I appreciate the temptation.
