how much would you pay for

How much would you pay to get a affiliate program now a days including paysites and content with it ? Basically a full program. Just curious what people think .

MetaMan 12-20-2004 03:20 PM

this has to go along with a "how much does a 50k-100k tgp make" question, it just doesnt make sense, please o please lord stop these people. :waaaaahh

Abyss_Vee 12-20-2004 03:22 PM

depends on the content :)

if its all exclusive good quality content... then it might be worth alot..

also depends on how much money it currently is bringing in at the moment.

axelcat 12-20-2004 03:23 PM

it all depends on how much you want to spend anywhere from 2k to 100k I guess

it depends on EVERYTHING

members
membership costs
amount of daily signups
exclusive/non exclusive content
member retention

its like asking how much a priceless painting is worth, why did god make these people that ask these questions. why o why? :waaaaahh

ok knowing all that whats the average asking price for it than . If there is a such thing as an average price .

pornguy 12-20-2004 03:26 PM

If it is 60+% exclusive, then it will cost you a good shiny penny.

im not offering deals just wanted to know how much people would pay for a affiliate program that is already built or even to start one up themselves . :)

CyberAgeGary 12-20-2004 03:54 PM

An Affiliate program that is already up and running with sites, will save anybody months of setting up, so I would have to say the best thing to do would buy an existing one already and just make the minor changes that you would need to make...

You could probably look to pay anywhere up to 6 figures for that type of program, espically if it has good domain names with it...

Yeah, I think everybody understands the question, but it's like asking "how much would you pay for a car nowadays?". That depends on the car. Is it a new Ferrari or a 14 year old Honda with the front window missing? It's just a question you can't answer in general.

it ALL depends on many issues....this question is not easy to answer ....thats if you are looking for serious answers....

depends on content
depends on number of sites
depends on active member count
depends on assets
etc
etc

VideoPass_Alex 12-20-2004 04:07 PM

The current processing model would play a role as well.

ok lets say for example a affilaite program with around 15 sites and a few of them being reality sites with exclusive content . Also tons of promo material and good domain names and around 100 members also including active webmasters and have a good customer database . Lets see some ruff prices for that . Once again guys I am just curious what people spend. There are so many people getting into the affilate game .

seeric 12-20-2004 04:59 PM

Depends on the processing. For example, lets say you are processing with an unstable third-party account, that would play a role in what someone would pay.

Some people might pay 6 months out for members while others might only pay 3 months. The processor controls the database of members.

It is worth what someone would pay.

You would need to project the member income, which would include the upsells, rebills, new signups, and compare that against the overhead (hosting, labor). Graph it out to a year. You are the only one with those numbers.

The design, stats programming and accompanying paysites would need to be seen to be priced.

BlueDesignStudios 12-20-2004 06:07 PM

depends on all the variables.. Cory summed it up nicely.. you'd need all those figures to put a rough price on it

yep, all that and more, each site would have to be appraised so to speak, you couldnt get 100k for a basic site with few members and cheap content:1orglaugh
