It's less than a week away now
 

Man X-Mas sure does sneak up on a person. Seems like it was only a month ago that it was summer time and the sun as setting at 10pm and I would joke with family saying "I'll get it for you for x-mas" because it seemed so far away.

No, I mean Saturday.

24th December is the day when you meet your family for Christmas dinner and give out all the gifts....

At least in some countries :glugglug

Then what is Christmas Day for?

Meating your family again and eating what's left :1orglaugh

And on the 26th meeting friends.

I know it varies from country to country though.

Interesting... here (at least in Canada anyway), we have Christmas Eve on the 24th... the day before, the anticipation day... talking about going to bed early and all that stuff...

Then on the 25th everyone wakes up early to race down the stairs to see what Santa left them under the tree. And then you get all day to check out the presents and take pictures and stuff... play in the snow (if you have snow).... then it's time for a HUGE family dinner that night.

Then the next day is Boxing Day where people dispose of all the messes made the day before and hit the stores for the really big sales (stuff that wasn't good enough to be sold for Christmas).

I think that about sums up how it goes here.

food and beers are definatly the best part of crimbo. theres so much food in my house and family and friends its awesome. its a good excuse to lounge around all day doing nothing just having a laugh.

I am ready and can't wait too, but we are giving christmas presents after dinner on Friday, it's little bit different in Europe than in USA.

I just finished wrapping my presents. I am sooooo excited!

I've got to wrap two, and then I'm done. The husband is teasing about maybe one more for me, but I'm not counting on it. I've already got the one from him. :)

There are a couple of small ones under the tree from various family members, but that's it. No $$ = small Xmas as far as gifts go, but the love is immeasurable. :)
