...military family to assist with the upcoming holiday...as I suggested doing a couple of weeks ago? There is still time if you haven't done so. Military families are far from being financially well off so any contribution would be appreciated by them as well as the gesture.

Sorry, havnt been able to had a death in the family and right now the holiday season is not the first thing on my mind, takin care of the family is.

I have been helping a military family all year long. (taking there child to different functions, letting him get out and have some fun and not worry about dad for just a little while).

Its great if you can find a local family or someone you know just to make sure everyone is doing ok. They get paid shit compared to there regular jobs over there and there are always a few bills that they could use some help with.

I don't donate to military families specifically but to needy families in general (Toys for Tots, etc.)

I have a few buddies over in iraq right now. I frequently send them new music, movies, snacks and even Playboy's. Not much but they seem to enjoy it all.
