Anyone know SOUND FORGE? Need to strike tracks on a continuous mix

i'm finalizing the cd that i want to give away and i need to make tracks on it because its a continuous mix.

how do you do this in sound forge. people hate listening straight through a mix, they like to go to their songs that they like.

While the subject of Sound Forge is up...

How do you combine tracks? Such as a vocal track and musical track?

After marking (just scroll to where you want the split, hit the M key), then go to Special--->Regions List----->Markers To Regions

After that, go to Tools--->Extract Regions

Open both files, copy one to the clipboard, go to the other file and set the cursor to the point on the wav where you want the data to begin to be mixed, then goto Edit----->Paste Special----->Mix---->Adjust levels to taste

it's not a multitracker - you need to use Vegas for that

You can mix tracks on soundforge, but you'll definetely do better to use something like cool edit pro (aka Adobe audition) if you have more than 2 tracks.

Never used Vegas, I'm sure it works fine too.

I love Vegas - I think it's the easiest to use of the multitrack audio apps - I'm surprised it's not more popular. It can also be used for video editing.
