does being in a cold room make you work faster?

does for me sometimes. Work fast so I can take a break and head to a warm part of the house

Spunky 12-18-2004 02:12 PM

Not for me...makes me want to climb under blankets

killshot 12-18-2004 02:12 PM

If i get too hot i find myself getting sleepy

If the house is cold i get more work done.. but if it is too cold then my fingers dont move right

I was coding away like a madman so my fingers kept fairly warm. Once they get cold I'm useless and making spelling errors everywhere.

I need it to be cool warm makes me fall asleep as well and every half hour I step outside and feel the cold air for a minute or two to keep me awake...

cool1 12-18-2004 02:23 PM

I work slower when it is cold

Cyborg 2.0 12-18-2004 02:35 PM

When is cool and fresh air i do work faster
but it can't be too cold

BradM 12-18-2004 02:36 PM

I prefer room tempurature around 4 degrees lower than everyone else... it keeps me awake and is more comfortable. If there is an open window and that tempurature I work more efficiently.

No, that makes me quit the job...
