Go to www.vbulletin.org for all kinds of hacks, mods, and skins/templates..

You may find something along the lines of what you want

i went to that site but didnt see any very good styles. theres a free style on the official vbulletin site that is pretty nice but it wont let me download it even after registering and confirming.

Get the VBulletin development kit from the owners lounge on vbulletin.om it contains all the .psd files for the buttons and icons so you change the colors.

Oh and if you have a white border around the ones you have changed.. change the border=1 to border=0 on each of the image calls ;)

While we are on the subject.... why Vbulletin over the free PHPbb?

I have seen a few bb boards with less problems than GFY.... and they are just as busy

Im not bitching about VB, just want 2 know why :)

"U get what u pay for" dosnt count

aaron 12-17-2004 04:23 PM

well i was going to use phpbb but in the info for phpbb or faq it says it is not good for very active forums with people posting a lot at once

European Lee 12-17-2004 04:27 PM

Well u do actually get what you pay for but.. as that isnt an option ;)

VBulletin actually has a wider range of plug ins for the script plus, it is a much more widely accepted 'format' by end users who post to the forum.

In effect, that it is much more easily related to by posters, means that it is much easier to get people to post because they are familiar with VBulletin ;)

Lee
