I need to make a poster for the front door, something that will need to be in high rez, maybe 22 width by 28 height.

It's for the Players Ball Top 30 Players.

I'm not adding pics into it, but I'll be adding in their names or nick handles. All I need from someone is to come up with a cool template for this. Either in a Players Ball theme with bling, or a Wanted Dead Or Alive style poster.

Only 1 winner, they'll get 2 VIP passes to the Players Ball.

I'll also give a pass to the best banner, 468 x 60 or 120 x 60. All designs posted can be used by D-Money and The Players Ball, and is much appreciated. So at least your work won't be for nothing, we'll probably use most samples.

And ask around and you'll get 500 different lists of 30 people.

C'mon man, I'm not asking for who the top 30 are, I know that already, I'm putting that in the blanks.

I just need the template made with blanks for the names.

And for those who missed that thread a while back when I was making the top 30 list, the reason for making this is very simple.

The Players Ball was created to give back to the webmaster community by recognizing the players in our industry. We do the Big Woody Awards, that's one way, we have webmaster MC's (KB and I) and a webmaster DJ (Evan XPays). Every opportunity to thank a sponsor of the party will also be inplace, giving them the most recognition throughout the night.

But there's ways of optimizing this concept of saluting the webmasters, especially the biggest players. A poster on foam core at the door as people walk in. Let's those big players feel appreciated as they walk into a Player event, and shows the other players that we respect them for their accomplishments.

We'll also have another poster for the top 30 Players who have helped the Players Ball through the years (minus sponsors because then we'd have way too many). Sponsors get the recognition all the way from the site, the hype going into it and then the actual night of the Ball with their thank you's and plasma screen display of their URL's.

So, we just like to maximize every opportunity to turn the spotlight around on the webmasters.

I think it's a good idea.

Not the point. I have no interest in being in it. Just seems weird to pick the "top 30 players" It's sure make some people feel alienated or forgotten, and thats never a godo thing.

theplayer'sball has been running strong for years and if anyone is left out they can be in next year's poster. i think memorabilia is cool. i am not a phish fan, but their merchandising was impressively orchestrated and this should be bigger and better- like all d$ joints

But at the same time, then I shouldn't do awards either for the same reason right?

See, I view it as, not everyone can win an award, so I'd like to not alienate those who didn't win awards but are still worthy, so I'm expanding in hopes to prevent more alienation.

It's just a little detail in a night, just a sign you walk past, if it even gets noticed.

Maybe I should put everyones name on it and blow it up to a wall size. :Graucho
