Brand new Epassporte Visa Electron card - first transaction, rejected

Just did my first online transaction and was rejected right away.

Good fucking start.

Anybody any idea why this might be happening?

Depends where you tried to make a purchase to , some billers like ccbill do not accept epassporte unless this has changed recently .

TheSwed 12-17-2004 02:28 PM

Did you use the virtual visa card number or your ATM cards?

Dirty F 12-17-2004 02:29 PM

Ughhhhhhhhh really? Damn.

They actually suggested paying with Visa Electron so i just did that.
That explains.

sometimes when u first open a credit card account they put it on hold till u call them. i have had it happen to me before. they just want to get confirmation its u using the card the first time.
