Just installed it and it is really sweet.
Has skins and is a hell of a lot faster than ICQ.
Give it a try if you liked Trillian.

How so?

i found a few problems with it with aim
become a very unstable piece of shit software within 24 hours of using it

i would get rated trying to connect to servers


so i switched back to just isng all the diffrent ones

Trillian lets you log on as multiple AIM users.

Can this software do that with AIm and ICQ?

Just downloaded it, so far so good... it's definitely cleaner and faster than trillian

dlded it, installed it... got my trillian contacts perfectly but I can send no messages. the chat window is totally fucked up and I can't type in it :helpme

been using it for bout a week now. dloded it from someone that was flying it in their sig. did notice a problem moving a contact from one aim group to another, program did crash on me.
other then that all is good.

Well, first of all, trillian was sending my ims from every id I had signed in...now I don't want my auntie to get a message from my adult im id, or an admirer to get my family im id. So that was the biggest reason to switch for me.
Second was that really annoying sign-on sound. I'm sure you can change it, but I don't have time to figure that shit out.
And it's skinnable, and I'm funny like that-I like my shit to have mys tyle.
So, probably all superficial reasons, but I still like the way it looks and works better.

so how much spyware does this thing install on your machine

Installed it, try to connect to ICQ... Got an error, asked if I wanted Microsoft to know about it and closed...

Works great!

so anyone else? is this thing any good?
