Is paypal the best option to receive money for mainstream?

I have this project for a mainstream site, a virtual store site (like amazon.com for example).

I've been checking out the fees they charge and there's no setup or montly fees and they only charge on a per-sale basis. Between 2.9 and 3.9% + 30 cents for each transaction.

Do you guys think that's a good deal?

PayPal is a must for an option. We use both PayPal and a merchant style processor on our non-adult stuff. A huge amount of people now have PayPal accounts and to not use it loses you sales. But....

PayPal really can suck even for mainstream. Just be very careful with it and make sure to never leave too much sitting in the account. We've had no probs with them yet but then I'm not dumb enough to think that it will never happen - the way they operate it's always a possibility. However until then if they increase our bottom line it's silly not to use them.
