How much am I suppose to give the mailman?
 

I hate trying to figure this shit out. Do I give him a card, certificate or cash? It's times like this I wish I was married, lol

for an xmas gift? i don't give him anything, he gets paid alot to do his job.

I spent the other night making 200 xmas cookies. I always just give out cookies to the mailman and my ups and fed ex guys. They actually expect them now! lol.

My delivery person is always different, as well over paid, so I expect them to give me something, aside from bills and physical spam.

we used to give the garbage men all the left over bottles of liquor from the xmas party... but the mailman we've never tipped him.

you put a 20.00 bill inside a xmas card and give it to him/her.
make sure your name and address are on the card too...

I just don't think my mailman could give two shits that when he goes on strike, my affiliate cheques are gonna sit there dormant. He's only concerned about himself making more money.

The day he goes into the postal outlet, and brings me my cheques even though he's on strike, just because it's a nice gesture, I'll give him a Christmas bonus as a nice gesture.

I used to do contract deliveries for the post office and know for a FACT that not all mail is delivered every day.

If you walk by the individual carriers mail sorters, you can see all the mail they missed. Streets at a time.

Knowing some of them, I can say, that SOME of them are excellent and rarely if ever have a noticeable amount of undelivered mail.

SOME however, miss streets on a daily basis.

When you don't get mail for 2,3 or 4 days in a row, and the next day, you get a ton...that's a clue.

Not just one time. That could certainly happen. I mean on a semi-regular basis.

41 cents in the usa to mail a letter.....thats extremely reasonable
i mean you could always deliver it yourself ...gas is cheap now...its not that far from LA to NYC....
