I tried to go Christmas shopping tonight
 

I ended up buying myself some clothes instead...lol


i need some help with picking gifts badly.

most of the people im buying for, do not want for anything....so it is non expensive gifts, but id like them to be cool at least.


any ideas? what are you guys getting for other people.?

I just give money. Saves me the trouble of buying something someone doesn't like.

I tell everyone to make me a list with at least 10 different items on it. That way I have something to pick from and it's still a surprise since I'm not getting them everything on the list.

I talked to my SIL tonight and asked her to send me a list and she said "Do you still have my old ones? There's a lot of stuff you haven't gotten me yet!" LOL! :)

money & gift certificates never fail.

its hard to suggest some things without knowing how much per person you're lookin to spend & the ages of the people. (kids, teens, adults)

gift cards are the best =) Mall giftcards or giftcards to popular electronic stores (bestbuy)

i dont do any christmas shopping and dont expect any gifts from anyone. all i care about is spending time with friends/family. sounds corny but it's true. havnt spent a penny and don't plan to :)

thanks everyone..i have decided on gift certificates.

a few hundred for my sister, so she can get some new shoes or whatever.

might still try for small meaingful gifts for the people who dont really need anything, just to let them know i care.


I also have two nieces to buy for one is 6 one is 2....when i bought for a boy aged 8 i got him a mini pup tent which he uses almost everyday...it is harder to pick a gift for girls.

Everyone likes gift certificates for restaurants or clothing.

I said I would shop online for everyone this year but didn't. I can't stand being around people, especially during the holidays.
