They can be a sign of "Portal hypertention" which is a sign of liver damage.

That can also cause something called "oesophageal varices", they are a sort of hemorriod in the throat. They can burst and when they do u bleed to death, u have no chance unless u are in hospital when it happens.

It was one of specialities when I was nursing.

Its more likely to be sitting down too much though.... worth having checked out if u drink too much or have hepatitis

why don't you go to the doctor and let them decide what will going to your hemorhoids. that thing hurts.

if you are in that much pain, go see your doc.

I have a few roids. They suck. Make sure you eat lots of fiber and then take stool softeners.
