:2 cents:

Unless you have a need for it then it could fetch up to $500 at a push.

$500?

More like $50 tops. I would say $25.

$8.88 at namecheap. Reason is, there's thousands of them available.

Of course the rare one could strike a company's attention. In general, they are not in demand.

$25 sounds about right to me.

Totally depends on the need for the name. I don't think domains with 1 letter and 2 numbers go for much.

buddyjuf 12-16-2004 04:50 PM

25$

All depends, If you could happen to hit 6 numbers out of 6, with a lottery ticket or something along those lines. Then, you can cash that ticket in.

^That's me mocking your statement. Why? Because it sounds just as far fetched as your domain statement. I mean does an end user sale occur? Yes. Does Winning the Lottery occur? Yes. Do they both occur very often? Nope, just have to be extremely lucky. It's practically the same method when buying a shitty domain like this. Buy a ticket/domain registration, sit on it, and cross your fingers.

I personally would never base my business model on "luck".

If youre just referring to letters with no numbers - theres 17,500 approx possible combos - which makes them a "rarer" commodity. People tend to pay a little more when something is "rarer"
As posted above if its marketed correctly, then it could be in the low xxx's up to over a mill. for a good 3 letter actual word

throwing numbers into the mix of course makes it a little messier - depends on what types of acronyms you can come up with :)
