Bush sanctions use of banner weapons in Iraq.
Nationlal UK Newspaper leads with story on how Bush sanctioned illegal weapon use in Iraq.
http://www.sundaymirror.co.uk/news/t...name_page.html FALLUJAH NAPALMED Nov 28 2004 US uses banned weapon ..but was Tony Blair told? By Paul Gilfeather Political Editor US troops are secretly using outlawed napalm gas to wipe out remaining insurgents in and around Fallujah. News that President George W. Bush has sanctioned the use of napalm, a deadly cocktail of polystyrene and jet fuel banned by the United Nations in 1980, will stun governments around the world. And last night Tony Blair was dragged into the row as furious Labour MPs demanded he face the Commons over it. Reports claim that innocent civilians have died in napalm attacks, which turn victims into human fireballs as the gel bonds flames to flesh. Outraged critics have also demanded that Mr Blair threatens to withdraw British troops from Iraq unless the US abandons one of the world's most reviled weapons. Halifax Labour MP Alice Mahon said: "I am calling on Mr Blair to make an emergency statement to the Commons to explain why this is happening. It begs the question: 'Did we know about this hideous weapon's use in Iraq?'" Since the American assault on Fallujah there have been reports of "melted" corpses, which appeared to have napalm injuries. Last August the US was forced to admit using the gas in Iraq. A 1980 UN convention banned the use of napalm against civilians - after pictures of a naked girl victim fleeing in Vietnam shocked the world. America, which didn't ratify the treaty, is the only country in the world still using the weapon. |

they have already admitted to using nepalm, did you not read the article. they admitted using it in august. now they have been using in fallujah.
this is a weapon that melts humna flesh by making flames stick to your skin with a polysterene resin. It's globally accepeted as being unacceptable for warfare use. The only country in the world still using nepalm, sanctioned by W of course, is the US. When your country has to borrow 1.9 billion dollars a day to keep your economy afloat, don't you think there are better ways to spend the countries money. |
We found the WMD guys.

Instead of insurgents, they'd have a pile of ash. Sounds like a benefit to me. LOL |

I already am well aware of what is being used. One of my best friends is the photographer who shot the pic of the young girl in Vietnam - he's back doing the same stuff in Iraq now. |

Guess it was so much easier in WW2 when the Allies just carpet bombed cities full of people to kill the Germans. Not a lot of fight was left from dead people. |

Simple question to everyone.
Would you like napalm to be dropped over your community where un-armed civilians still live, even if someone else has designated it a warzone? Anyone who thinks these are ALL terrorists or terrorists to be, remember Iraq wasn't the cause of 9/11, it was Al Qaeda, and even though some of the people in Iraq are extremists and apart of Al Qaeda, not everyone is, and if you think they are then you're ignorant/arrogant. And mostly, these 'rebels' are people who don't want the US on their soil. Would you want Iraqi military on your soil, taking Bush out of power? If you're a supporter of Bush, of course not.. Matt |

I was not implying I think napalm is a good thing, perhaps sarcasm is above you? I was callling someone on there being no benefit to using napalm, so the US wouldn't. I simply pointed out a benefit. |
Amazing that the USA went to Iraq to find " piles of WMD"....
Could have saved money by checking in their own backyard :2 cents: |
