I wonder whats the number of non death casualties. I would think with the advances in medicine there are a huge number of casualties that would have in previous wars died but now live on and are not part of the number commonly distributed in the media? How many soldier who are not dead but injured so severely, they essentially have been removed from the workforce barring lengthy and costly rehab.

I wonder why this isn't in the news? For some reason the media has treated and continues to treat Bush with kid gloves.
