OK. Here's the scoop.

The only change to the T&C's is that everyone who has an account will automatically renew on the expiration date. The way it was originally worded, the account would simply expire.

That's all.

Nothing else changes.

crackerboy 12-16-2004 11:21 AM

Damn thanks for the info mate
and for the fast respons

epassporte rocks:thumbsup

Hmmm I did never agree to the terms, I just closed the browser window.
And when I logged in again, I didnt have to agree with the new terms.

OzMan 12-16-2004 11:49 AM

Rand do you have a rough idea of what percentage of offline VISA merchants are VISA electron enabled? If there is no electron sign we can't use EP there correct?

Thanks

OzMan,

If I understand your question correctly, there is no difference of acceptability of Visa or Visa Electron IF the merchant is using an electroinc verification process (which almost all merchants do now). So, an electronic card swipe machine where you enter your PIN is all that is required,

You'll notice that the Visa Electron card does not have raised numbers, That is to help prevent anyone from using an imprint slip (like in the old days with the carbon slips) to get an imprint of the card and to instead force an electronic approval. That is the only difference in terms of acceptability.

Electron cards are not that well known in the U.S. but very popular in almost every other Visa region.

I did not realize that. Very good to know. Thanks

Just used INTERAC with epass... in a optician

I did not have to enter PIN

So be very carefull with your card!

Take care of it as it was a real CC

Do not pretend it is like a ATM NIPPED card

People can use it without your PIN
