move or not to move?

if you could get three times the house for less of what your current one costs would you move 400kms away?

BRISK 12-15-2004 09:17 PM

Depends where 400kms away is

iwantchixx 12-15-2004 09:19 PM

it's in my home town, Campbelton, NB.

no tmuch for work for my gf though, but homes are cheap as fuck. there's a ski lodge, huge mountain range and a river. I'm tempted.

It will cost you a lot in the long run. Moving is expensive and if it's 3 times the house then you'll need a lot of new furniture and you'll want to renovate maybe.

But I would still do it if it was me :Graucho

Depends which direction.

FreshChecks 12-15-2004 09:40 PM

If you can afford to move there without your girl working then i'd do it in a heartbeat.

Screaming 12-15-2004 09:41 PM

dont know kinda hard to leave somewhere just for the house, well if you dont really have many friends or family there then yes i would

psyko514 12-15-2004 09:41 PM

You're in Moncton now, right?

In your position, I'd do it. Better to do it now while your kid is young.

Rochard 12-15-2004 09:42 PM

I moved from Danville California to Phoenix Arizona.

Even on my current salary I couldn't afford a house there. Here I have a brand new customer five bedroom home with a pool for $220k.

Warden 12-15-2004 09:48 PM

Hey if you think the small town life (or smaller town) is for you and you can make your living from home, which I assume you can, I say hell yeah!

5 years isn't so bad. The kid will still be young. You don't wanna do it when he/she is a little older and started school, has friends, etc.

korzon 12-15-2004 09:58 PM

yes move to a more rural area

you will thank yourself later
