google and new sites..

Anyone have any idea on the time frame of getting pr to show up on new sites? The sites are listed in google but it's kinda hard to get hardlink trades when the sites are still showing no pr. Any Ideas?

I'm still not completely sold on the relevance of Page Rank. It is certainly one factor, but not the only factor. I, for one, have advertising page hubs that have a page rank of 7, and have yet to find a keyword that returns my page(s) within the first 10 pages of results. And then I have a large number of pages that do have number 1, 2 and 3 positions for relevant keywords, and they have a page rank of ZERO.

Instead of waiting months for my pages to "possibly" be included in SE, I tend to use Pay Per Click Search Engines instead. (This link shows most of the ones I use)

Thanks for the link smokey I had bookmarked that site before my last crash and couldn't remember the URL...:thumbsup

I dont really understand the concept of this PR trade thing.

I mean, if you send more traffic to traders, than they loose from not getting "high" PR, they will gain of it.
Thinking of SE traffic, that depends more on how good you are with keywords and structuring your site. I see so many TGPs focusing on PR and at the same time they have few words for the search engines. Also missing keywords in ALT and TITLE tags.

One of my sites has, according to google, "only" PR2, but still a lot of the keywords ends up in top10 on google. Even higher than the paysites.
Yeah, the SE traffic is nice, but dont let Google control your business. Quality is more important, and ranking dont account for this :)

pr is half the battle.. regardless of how acurate it is..

make a good page with your keyword , get it listed on relevent sites with your keywords as link texts , and your job is done.. regardless of your pr..

do you want to sell any of the high pr's that don't make you any money?

I could careless about the pr rank but when trying to trade hard links for SE reasons it's hard to find good trades if you have no PR..

No, sorry. All of my pages with high page ranks are my "advertising hubs", where I send all of my clicked traffic. As I have been creating webpages for over 4 years now, there are literally 10's of thousands of pages, all linking back to these hubs. So, to me, these domains are priceless.

PR is dead. Long live PR.
