Just gave my dog a bath...

now's she's running around all over the house like crazy :1orglaugh

they get so happy after , but going in is hell getting them to go... and she knows when it's time for her bath too.. whenever i grab her towel, she tucks her tail and goes under the table :1orglaugh

is she dragging her head and ears across all the furniture..rollign around in the pillows? it's so funny, my dog hates the bath before and during, but she always feels good afterwards

The Bootyologist 12-15-2004 01:39 PM

I have a two year old Blue Heeler named Sadie, my right hand girl, and we actually did the bath on Monday night, she was in heaven!

It's time for us to give Shorty a bath too.
He doesn't mind it at all.
He just stands in the tub quietly and waits for it to be over. :)

:1orglaugh My dog runs around like a maniac after. Barking and jumping on everything

they have do it yourself dog bath places. you take your dog in there and wash them. i cant seem to get my dog into my bath tub. he puts his legs on the sides and blocks me from putting him in there. its hard because he weighs about 75 pounds.

i can just picture that scene with you trying to force this huge dog into the tub, and its legs are spread on the sides blocking :1orglaugh

I wash my guineas weekly.

They don't care because they are usually so stoned out of their minds they have no idea what is going on.

I gave my dog a bath today..... I feel ashamed, the amount of dirt which came off him was a disgrace. His coat now feels nice and soft :)

I have 4 LARGE dogs. 2 at 95+ pounds. They ALL get crazy after their baths, but it seems they are trying to get dirty again. It's like they can't stand being clean.

I have it easy: we use a mobile dog grooming service, and in fact she's here right now. Comes by once a month, and has a fully equipped / heated van. She's real good with my doggy, and does a really nice job, too. $50, and it's a lot easier on the dog than when we'd drop him off at PetSmart to be clipped - they would do a shitty job, and he'd usually bite one or two of the girls

My blue heeler dug a huge hole Monday night after her bath, she's gets hyper too!
